Ho ho ho Jingle bells.. Jingle bells Jingle all the way!

So it’s Christmas.. Another year has passed and wow you’ve made it to Christmas again.

My dear readers whether you spend it with mom and dad or just mom or just dad or even gran or grandad whoever you spend Christmas with just make it memorable.

Life is to short to hold grudges, argue, hate and be angry.

Love and let live. Jingle bells, Jingle bells, Jingle all the way just let go for one day be happy.

The year has been trying for all of us and for some it may have been amazing and for others it might have just been a nightmare, whatever it may or may not have been just remember you are still here because you have a purpose and God has plans for you even if you don’t know what that is right now.

Always give thanks to God for all the blessings you do have. Focus on your blessings not on your troubles.”

Merry Christmas to all those celebrating and to those that don’t celebrate enjoy the day off…

I hope Cancer gets Cancer and Dies from it!!

This is a poem written by a teenager with cancer.

She wants to see how many people get her poem. It is quite the poem. Please pass it on. This poem was written by a terminally ill young girl in a New York Hospital. It was sent by a medical doctor.

Make sure to read what is in the closing statement AFTER THE POEM.

SLOW DANCE

Have you ever watched kids
On a merry-go-round?
Or listened to the rain
Slapping on the ground?
Ever followed a butterfly’s erratic flight?
Or gazed at the sun into the fading night?
You better slow down.
Don’t dance so fast.
Time is short.
The music won’t last.

Do you run through each day
On the fly?
When you ask How are you?
Do you hear the reply?
When the day is done
Do you lie in your bed
With the next hundred chores
Running through your head?
You’d better slow down
Don’t dance so fast.
Time is short.
The music won’t last.

Ever told your child,
We’ll do it tomorrow?
And in your haste,
Not see his sorrow?
Ever lost touch,
Let a good friendship die
Cause you never had time
To call and say,”Hi”
You’d better slow down.
Don’t dance so fast.
Time is short.

The music won’t last.

When you run so fast to get somewhere
You miss half the fun of getting there.
When you worry and hurry through your day,
It is like an unopened gift…..
Thrown away.
Life is not a race.
Do take it slower

Hear the music

Before the song is over.

Pain Demands to be felt!

Hi, to all my dear readers…

So I started my blog and it was going really great and then everything I wrote about became a reality.

The hurt, The Pain, The Anger, The Depression, The Sadness, it became too much.
I then went back to every post I wrote and re read it over and over and realised that I needed to practice what I preach and start taking my own advice.

Sometimes a lot that is written is so much easier said then done and the pass few months I came to realise that.
But what I also came to realise is that with every hardship comes ease. Don’t get me wrong, when you feel pain it never goes away, what I am getting at is the fact that we teach ourselves to control our emotions.

We don’t let thoughts and feelings over power who we are, we take control and take it one day at a time.
If you need to break down and cry every so often then by all means break down and cry but always remember you are in control of every tear, every emotion, every little thing that happens within in and around you.
I lost my dad to Cancer “Oct 2014” and I felt hopeless and lost without him but I take comfort in remembering how he lived, how he smiled, how he encouraged me and when people ask how he passed on?, I reply and say “I can tell you how he lived”.

Don’t let the pain of anything consume you, yes it demands to be felt but always remember you have to still go on. “Life goes on:

Memories are powerful. Make each one worth remembering. for everything we do is a memory; make them good ones with love and laughter.

What we keep in our memories is ours forever.
